• The North London Friendship Club – A free friendship group every Tuesday afternoon from 1:30PM to 4PM at St. Luke’s Parish Hall (1204 Richmond Street – approx. 3 blocks north of the UWO gates).  Originally started by some parishioners at St. Luke’s, this is a purely social event and is open to any North-Londoner of any faith or gender who has time on their hands and would like to play cards or board-games, knit, crochet, chat, etc., etc.  (Some of us are crocheting the milk-bag mats for Africa) Tea and coffee and cookies are served at approximately 2:30PM.  For information, Susan Bentley  519-673-1164.

• The Museum of Ontario Archaeology at 1600 Attawandaron Road, London will host the Native Harvest Festival & Pow Wow on Sept. 17th from 7AM-9PM and Sept. 18th & 19^th from 9AM-5PM.  Celebrate Native culture with dancers, drums, Native craft vendors & artists, food, artist workshops, London Potters Guild Pit Firing.  Friday night concert. • London South Collegiate Institute's fourth annual Homecoming will take place on Friday, October 8, 2010. Opening ceremonies will commence at 5:30 PM followed by both junior and senior boys' football games. Come out and cheer on the Lions! 
  
  Students' Council is putting on a barbecue and there will be a tailgate party on the ramp during the games. Entertainment will be provided by Six Vocal Ensemble and the South Musical Theatre Class.  Everyone is invited to this family-oriented event!
