  • 3M Harvest Lunch & United Way Campaign Launch takes place each fall to kick off our annual Campaign and to reveal the Campaign goal. This popular lunchtime event features music, speakers, networking and of course, lunch!

  • The North London Friendship Club – A free friendship group every Tuesday afternoon from 1:30PM to 4PM at St. Luke’s Parish Hall (1204 Richmond Street – approx. 3 blocks north of the UWO gates).  Originally started by some parishioners at St. Luke’s, this is a purely social event and is open to any North-Londoner of any faith or gender who has time on their hands and would like to play cards or board-games, knit, crochet, chat, etc., etc.  (Some of us are crocheting the milk-bag mats for Africa) Tea and coffee and cookies are served at approximately 2:30PM.  For information, Susan Bentley  519-673-1164.

  • The Museum of Ontario Archaeology at 1600 Attawandaron Road, London will host the Native Harvest Festival & Pow Wow on Sept. 17th from 7AM-9PM and Sept. 18th & 19th from 9AM-5PM.  Celebrate Native culture with dancers, drums, Native craft vendors & artists, food, artist workshops, London Potters Guild Pit Firing.  Friday night concert. Even the medium I use is not ordinary – and I have yet to discover the name to describe it… but in the meantime, I use the terms digital art, computer art, or mixed media.

  • The 10th Anniversary 5K "WALK for ALS" hosted by the London Chapter ALS Society of Ontario will be held at Springbank Gardens at 285 Wonderland Rd. S.   • Hope's Garden 4th annual "Celebrate EveryBODY" Fashion Show will be held on September 30th, 2010 at the Hellenic Community Center, located at 133 Southdale Road West.   • London South Collegiate Institute's fourth annual Homecoming will take place on Friday, October 8, 2010. Opening ceremonies will commence at 5:30 PM followed by both junior and senior boys' football games. Come out and cheer on the Lions! 

    Students' Council is putting on a barbecue and there will be a tailgate party on the ramp during the games. Entertainment will be provided by Six Vocal Ensemble and the South Musical Theatre Class.  Everyone is invited to this family-oriented event!

The Pillar Community Innovation Awards Gala takes place November 4 at the London Convention Centre.
